Finally back at the track after the first COVID lockdown, boy it's been a while, haven't been here since last year in May when it rained most of the day, and I had my new BC ER coilovers. With only do the Honda Nationals Winton day after, I still felt fairly fresh on the new coilovers, so I kept that in mind that we'd most likely need to do more testing and adjustments today.

First few sessions were very sloppy as I tried to remember how to.. well yanno, how to drive a car. Spun out 3 or 4 times which didn't help the alignment of the car, curious to why the rear just wanted to play tokyo drift. About midday I decided to raise the front 5mm as I never raised the front when the rear was raised due to the external resorviors on the BC ER coilovers, which was causing a fair bit of rake. Raising the front 5mm seemed to level out the car a bit better, along with this we softened the rear from 15 clicks to 10.

Fair bit of track time during the day, Euro cars taking up space flooring it down the straights, braking extremely early and going very slow through the turns made it interesting throughout the day, really just your standard track day..

After going back out with the new settings the car already felt much more stable, so I had 3 sessions left to try bring home this 1.09 PB goal. 2nd last session I came back to the 1.10.5, with the 2nd half of the final session showing a 1.10.27(PB), 1.10.43 & 1.10.35.

Unfortunately no 1.09 PB goal here but I'm happy with how the car performed since it's long break at Wakefield. I have booked in for another day in 3 weeks, shall see what that day results with!

Was great to catch up with Josh in his RX7, who originally owned the ED I got my GAB SS coilovers, camber arms and various other parts from when I first got my car!
