The first Wakefield day for 2018! The car was booked in for a roll cage the following week, so the plan was to hit the 1.10's regardless of the cost. Temps for the day were 32 degrees so not ideal, but that wasn't going to stop me. Started the day off in the 1.13's/1.12's, very hot, tyres all over the joint. Had to adjust my usual dampening settings as it felt too twitchy with the new rear sway bar brackets. I usually run 5 clicks less from max, but went 10 from max at the rear which help a lot, fine tuning later to 7 from max.

With that sorted I all of a sudden jumped to a 1.11.7, with a 1.11.2 the following lap. For a few more sessions sat around the 1.11's and then towards the end of the day I magically got a 1.10.9! Was so happy, good to have my crew there all exchanging high fives in the pits, felt like I won the F1 series! I decided however the .9 could be better, so I went back out to get another 1.10.9 followed by a 1.10.8! Not much difference but to get more 1.10's it should it wasn't a fluke, especially with the temperatures. Sooo happy with the car, I sense a low 1.10 on a cooler day but it is what it is.

Anyways, as mentioned the car has been dropped off the a local shop which deals in a lot of roll cages for drift cars, they are taking on the civic for a bolt in half cage, keen to see the result. Also purchased a new bucket seat for the cage, stay tuned to see what I purchased!
