Today I received the Work Equip 01's back from Kevin with some tyres fitted. His a mechanic and at his shop they tend to throw out used customer tyres with still decent thread, as the customers usually ask for new tyres. As I was on a bit of a budget we opted to use some old tyres which had cycled through his work, so it costed me a maccas feed!
And this is how they look fitted to the car, love it! Definitely need to adjust the height, lower it some more especially in the front, and dial in a lot more camber, especially in the rear as it's poking as you can see.
A couple of weeks after I had installed the camber arms and coilovers, I went through a massive pot hole and managed to snap the top mounting bracket stud of one of the front camber arms I was suprised because its Skunk2 and they are a good brand, so i thought. So I did my research and found out the actual mounting brackets of the skunk2 camber arms are really weak and you can bend it with ease if you use your hands. So as suggested on the forum, I swapped the OEM mounting bracket in and havn't had any trouble since.
Also, on the Monday 24th which just passed I went over to my mates Sam's place to pick up my new spoiler he ordered on my behalf as I think (writing this in 2023) the plan was for him to take it somewhere local to get painted, however that didn't happen in the end so I took it as is, obviously I paid for it and just had it shipped to his.
