Time to remove the D15B4

The civic tear down began today! Nice cool day with a few light showers around, but I kept at it. Plan is to unbolt/unplug everything so the motor would be ready to remove, and then take it out on Sunday with a few mates just for the extra hands! But once it was already all unbolt, I wanted it out asap, good thing my mum was home. She was happy to help, so she just assisted in guiding the motor out of the car as I lifted it on the crane!

So it looks like on Sunday I'll start removing more from the engine bay, and also take the dash off to remove the interior harness and all the AC/heater components from inside!

You've done me well so far, thankyou for the memories, but time for bigger things!

~ Sunday

Another successful day working on the Lunchbox. Ripped out all the interior, pulled out half of the engine bay harness and removed all of the AC components.

I was going to run no AC nor heater core, but my mates are starting to persuade me into leaving the heater in for those winter times where the windscreen wishes to fog up on me. I'll now need to look into what I need to keep in order for the heater core to work correctly..

Dash off with all the AC components there, and then not there:
