Today I went and picked up a EF9 front end which had been advertised on a Facebook sales group. It was really cheap, $450 for the whole front end plus a replica Js Racing lip made from polyurethane which made it very durable. The paint was quite average but that didn't matter.

I took the whole front end (minus the front lip), along with the spoiler to a local guy who works at a paint shop, but does cashies at home. I went for the original white to match the car. The front end was originally red.

The EF9 front end consided of bumper + lip, filler piece, bonnet, headlights & parkers, indicators, T bracket and EF9 mounting plates for the radiator support. Everything bolts up without any cutting or modifying.

The following weekend 13/12/2014 I fitted the rear spoiler. Looking online as to how people fit them, they usually either screw it into the OEM spoiler (which was a big NO for me) or use some sort of glue to stick it. I was informed of 'Sikaflex' and boy does this stuff stick!

Having no idea what I'm doing, we started to cake the OEM spoiler in Sikaflex, and then place the spoiler on top. Wanting to make sure the Sikaflex set without it moving my brother and I quickly rushed to grab anything heavy to hold it in place.. Bit questionable, and resulted in some slight wavey fitment on the front of it against the roof but hey it worked, and re-writing this in 2023 9 years later it's still attached to the car!

Also had a Ultra Racing rear lower control arm brace arrive from eBay, I wanted all my additional underbody bracing to be red so I painted it and fitted, no photos it seems.

The next day I was invited to a Royal National park cruise with my former SP20 group. Lovely day out cruising around, quickly learning with how I lowered the Civic as mentioned above it now scrubs a lot in the rear, like smoke was coming out.. Will need to address this..
